Da Younger

Artist

"Da Younger", Ryan Haynes is a recording artist, model, and multi-faceted entertainer. Born in Chicago, Illinois on September 13th, 1990. Da Younger is the son of Diane and Jerome Haynes Sr., who were both deeply involved in the church. His parents are both African American and natives of Chicago as well.

Da Younger's interest in performing began at an early age. From days spent with his parents in church, he gained an appreciation and understanding for music that later influenced the sounds and lyrics he would create in years to come. His music journey started at the young age of 10 by playing the piano in church. He is now able to play by ear and captivate audiences with his astounding talent. As a rap artist he realized that this would be a positive outlet to help take away some of the pain that he was going through in life.

In 2017, Da Younger took his music career to the next level by teaming up with his manager at the time, Porsche Lee, his engineer DJ X from Xplizit Records, and his videographer Quinton Shootz, who made sure to capture every moment. With this team behind him he would go to even higher heights. Since then he has opened for major names such as 2Chainz, Tee Grizzley, Waka Flocka, MoneyBagg Yo, and many more. He also performed for thousands of people in the crowd at festivals like 80/35 and 515 Alive.  Da Younger is definitely not a new face to the media as they love to capture his story.

In May of 2017, Da Younger made his presence known with his very first mixtape, "Scriptures" with songs like "Hot Boy" going viral with almost 90k views when it released that left fans wondering who the new face was.  He then released his first self-entitled album "Da Younger", which dropped in January of 2018, with his song S.T.R.S. streaming over 1 MILLION plays on SoundCloud. A month later on Valentine’s Day he then released his third album aimed for the ladies called, “H.B.K” Heart-Break Kid. He has definitely stirred up a buzz and the momentum will continue to grow…

Even though music is his passion, Da Younger holds true to his values with his commitment to his religious faith, family, and community. He also gives back to the community while working with events such as fundraisers, coat and canned food drives, mentoring the youth, and more. Da Younger is determined to reach great heights in his music career.
